Part of the Beauty and Decay themed still life images, created during the Covid lockdowns. I started working on this series to show the dichotomy of beauty in different stages. The animal skulls in direct opposition but blending into the beautiful and soft edges of the flowers for me show this contract. This is a horizontal image of a muskrat skull floating on a bed of pink Delphinium flowers on a black background. All images are for sale, matte prints, multiple sizes.
